Choosing treatment abroad requires more than one score. This page explains exactly what our labels mean, what data we publish and what patients still need to check themselves.
The two labels used on clinic profiles
✓ Verified Clinic
A clinic receives this label when its public Google profile currently shows both:
- a rating of 4.5 stars or higher; and
- 100 or more Google reviews.
The rule is applied consistently across the directory and recalculated when clinic data is updated. Clinics cannot pay to receive the label.
Listed Clinic
The clinic has a profile in our directory but does not currently meet both review thresholds. Its public rating and review count remain visible so patients can make their own comparison.
What we publish
- Clinic name, address and location from public business information.
- Google rating and review count captured from the matched public profile.
- Other platform ratings only when the source page can be matched confidently.
- Indicative price ranges, which are not a personal treatment quote.
We do not invent missing ratings. If Yandex, Trustpilot, WhatClinic or another source cannot be verified reliably, the field stays blank.
What the badge does not prove
- that every dentist or procedure has been medically audited by GetClinicTurkey;
- that a clinic currently holds every authorisation needed for your particular treatment;
- that reviews are a substitute for X-rays, diagnosis or an itemised plan; or
- that a particular result is guaranteed.
Checks to make before paying
- Ask for the full name and qualification of the clinician responsible for your case.
- Confirm the clinic and provider in the current Ministry of Health/USHAŞ records.
- Get a written, tooth-by-tooth or procedure-by-procedure plan based on proper diagnostics.
- Check materials, hotel, transfers, medicines, aftercare and revision terms in writing.
- Be cautious if a clinic recommends irreversible treatment from photographs alone.

Verification FAQ
What does the “Verified” badge mean?
It means the clinic currently has a Google rating of at least 4.5 stars and at least 100 Google reviews. It is a review-history threshold, not a medical endorsement, regulatory certificate or guarantee of results.
Does “Listed Clinic” mean a clinic failed verification?
No. It means the clinic profile is published but does not currently meet the Verified review-volume threshold. A new or smaller clinic may have a high rating with fewer than 100 reviews.
Do clinics pay for a badge or higher ranking?
No. Clinics cannot buy a Verified badge, a higher position or favourable review data. GetClinicTurkey may receive a referral fee if a patient books treatment, as explained in our terms.
Does GetClinicTurkey verify Ministry of Health authorisation?
Not as part of the current automated badge rule. Patients should independently confirm the clinic and treating provider against the current Turkish Ministry of Health or USHAŞ records before booking.
Why are some Yandex, Trustpilot or WhatClinic fields blank?
We leave a field blank when we cannot retrieve or confidently match the source profile. Blank means unavailable or unconfirmed; it does not mean a zero rating.
