Choosing a clinic abroad is a matter of trust, so we are transparent about exactly how we vet the clinics on GetClinicTurkey — what we check, what our Verified badge means, and what we deliberately do not do.
The three checks behind every listing
Ministry of Health authorization
We check that each clinic holds a Turkish Ministry of Health International Health Tourism Authorization — the licence required to legally treat international patients. Clinics that cannot evidence this are not listed.
Cross-platform review verification
We collect each clinic’s ratings from Google, Yandex, Trustpilot and WhatClinic and show them side by side with real review counts. A single glowing score is easy to fake; a consistent record across independent platforms is not. Where a platform has no data, we leave it blank rather than inventing a number.
Transparency & contactability
We list a real address, working hours, treatments and contact details for every clinic, and favour those willing to provide a written, itemised treatment plan from your X-rays before you pay.
What the “Verified” badge means
The Verified badge is earned, not bought. A clinic qualifies when it combines a checked health-tourism authorization with a strong, high-volume public review history — currently a Google rating of 4.5★ or higher across at least 100 reviews. Newer or smaller clinics can still be excellent and remain listed; they simply have not yet built the review volume the badge requires. The badge signals an established, well-reviewed clinic — it is a trust signal, not a medical endorsement.
What we do not do
- We don’t sell rankings or badges. No clinic can pay to appear higher or to be marked Verified.
- We don’t publish fake or incentivised reviews. The ratings we show are the clinics’ own public scores on third-party platforms.
- We don’t hide the numbers. Review counts and cross-platform scores are shown as they are, even when one platform is lower than another.
- We don’t guarantee a medical outcome. We help you shortlist legitimate clinics and ask the right questions; the treatment decision is between you and your chosen clinic.
Your part matters too
Use our checks as a starting point, then do your own: read a spread of recent reviews, ask for a written per-tooth or per-implant plan from your own X-rays, confirm the implant or ceramic brand and its guarantee, and make sure a named dentist is responsible for your care. Our questions-answered guide lists exactly what to ask.
Verification FAQ
What does the “Verified” badge mean on GetClinicTurkey?
Our Verified badge marks clinics with a strong, high-volume review history — currently a Google rating of 4.5★ or higher across at least 100 reviews, alongside a checked Ministry of Health health-tourism authorization. It signals an established, well-reviewed clinic; it is not a medical endorsement, and we always encourage your own due diligence.
Do clinics pay to be listed or ranked higher?
No. Clinics do not pay us to appear, to be ranked higher, or to receive a Verified badge. Rankings and badges are based on real, cross-platform review data — never on payment.
Are the ratings you show real?
Yes. We display each clinic’s actual ratings from Google, Yandex, Trustpilot and WhatClinic side by side, with the real review counts — not a single cherry-picked score. Where a platform has no data, we leave it blank rather than inventing one.
Does a listing guarantee a good outcome?
No platform can guarantee a medical outcome. We help you shortlist legitimate, well-reviewed clinics and give you the questions to ask — but the final choice, and confirming the treatment plan, is yours. Always get a written, itemised plan before you pay.
