What can be corrected
Examples include a clinic name, address, district, public rating, review count, treatment list, opening hours, broken source, calculation, outdated legal reference or a misleading clinical statement. Disagreement with an honestly described methodology is considered, but it does not automatically make the data incorrect.
How to submit a correction
Use the contact page and include the exact URL, the statement or field at issue, the requested correction and a public or documentary source. Clinics should use an official-domain email where possible. Never send unnecessary patient records or sensitive health information.
How we assess requests
We compare the request with public profiles, official records and the evidence supplied. We may ask for clarification. Review-data corrections are matched to the relevant public business profile; a screenshot without a visible source or date may be insufficient.
Material corrections
When an error could materially change a reader’s understanding, we update the page and its modified date. If a claim cannot be substantiated, we remove or qualify it. Minor spelling and formatting changes may be corrected silently.
No paid corrections or retaliation
There is no charge to correct a factual error. Buying advertising, accepting a referral arrangement or displaying a badge cannot alter public rating data, the verification threshold or the outcome of a correction request. We do not suppress supported corrections because they are commercially inconvenient.
Reviews and patient disputes
GetClinicTurkey does not edit third-party Google reviews. A patient-treatment dispute may require the clinic’s complaint process, insurer, regulator, legal advice or emergency care. We can correct our own directory fields but cannot adjudicate clinical negligence.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly are corrections made?
We prioritise safety-critical and materially misleading errors. Timing depends on the evidence and whether independent verification is required.
Can a clinic pay to change its rating?
No. Ratings and review counts reflect the matched public source, and badge eligibility follows the published threshold.
Will every correction request be accepted?
No. We correct supported factual errors; we do not promise to adopt promotional wording or remove accurate public information merely because it is unfavourable.
