What medical review means
Medical review is a documented check by a suitably qualified healthcare professional whose scope is relevant to the subject. The reviewer considers whether clinical descriptions, risk framing, terminology and advice to seek care are accurate and appropriately limited. It is not a patient consultation or approval of any clinic.
Current review status
Most GetClinicTurkey guides are editorially reviewed and sourced but are not yet medically reviewed. We state this directly on those pages. We will add a medical-review label only after a named professional reviews the published version; we will not create fictional reviewers, qualifications or approval dates.
Reviewer eligibility
For dentistry, a reviewer should be a currently registered dentist or relevant dental specialist. For hair restoration or another medical procedure, the reviewer should hold a current professional registration and relevant scope. We record the reviewer’s name, qualification, professional role, registration jurisdiction and review date, subject to verification and consent.
What reviewers check
- clinical definitions and treatment stages;
- the distinction between general information and individual advice;
- risk, recovery and red-flag wording;
- whether claims are supported by appropriate sources;
- whether alternatives and uncertainty are represented fairly; and
- whether urgent-care guidance is clear.
What reviewers do not certify
A reviewer does not audit every listed clinic, guarantee outcomes, diagnose readers or endorse a specific treatment package. Directory ratings and the Verified label remain separate from clinical review.
Update cycle
High-impact medical content is prioritised when guidance, regulation or evidence changes. Material revisions require renewed review before an old medical-review date can be carried forward. Minor spelling or formatting fixes do not imply a new clinical assessment.
Conflicts of interest
Reviewers must disclose relevant paid clinic relationships or commercial interests. A clinic may correct factual information about its own profile, but that is not independent medical review of GetClinicTurkey guidance.

No. Editorial review checks clarity, evidence and consistency; medical review requires a named qualified healthcare professional.
Can a clinic's own dentist review a page?
A dentist may verify clinic-specific facts, but relevant commercial ties must be disclosed and the review is not automatically independent.
Where should I seek personal advice?
Use a licensed clinician who can examine you, review imaging and understand your medical history. Website content cannot provide personal clearance.
